I had my car for sale on AutoTrader.com, and this person texted me with the following texts. I\'m deleting my replies from the list because they\'re irrelevant. Thankfully I\'m paranoid and Googled his name and found this website before it went further than this....
His texts to me have the same pattern as the other people here:

Text #1:
Used 2009 Ford Expedition EL XLT
$24,500 Hello,Kindly let me know the condition and availability of this AD.Thanks,Scott.

Text #2:
Thank you for getting back to me,can you assure me that i will not be disappointed if i buy this car as a Birthday gift for my Dad? as I\'m ready to pay your asking price but not cash in person because I\'m an Oceanographer and i am presently on a contract which will end in couple of months, the contract is strictly no call due to the lack of reception on the sea area, but I\'m able to access my mail through my laptop and my only quickest payment option is Paypal.

Text #3:
what is your last asking price?and whats\' your paypal details for me to transfer funds? My Dad\'s birthday is fast approaching,I am sure he will love this car,he\'s a mechanic and a handy man,so if there is anything that need to be fixed in it just let me know he will handle it. I have a mover that will come for the pick up once payment clears in your account and he will handle the title for me. you can send invoice to sclarkson1005@gmail.com. Thanks

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
