There was an ad in autotrader for a 2011 Kia Sportage for £6,500 (around 1/3 of the book price). Yes, it was too good to be true! This person was claiming to have returned to Cadiz,Spain to be with her/his family and a right hand car was not sought after there. It was claimed that the payment could be made via Google Wallet and came with all sorts of guarantees about the car having been checked. I googled the name of the person who had sent the email - Gill Hughes, and the name of the individual - GHEORGHE HARABAGIU OVIDIU, who the money was to be paid to. Both were well known on scamming websites. So, thanks to everyone who posted these details. Saved me a lot of money!

A subsequent email, supposedly from Google Wallet, came from this email address: support@google-uk-wallet.com
