This guy said his son died and the rv for sale had been his. He said he was trying to get rid of it because it brought back bad memories, it was for sale at $3,600. He said he would have it delivered to us at his expense,we could try it out for 5 days and if we wanted to keep, then he would get the money that had been wired to ebay motors via an ebay invoice. We received ebay inv for trans#665432229 with ebay customer service 877-749-3321 from ebay@buyers-protection-program.com. i went online to actual ebay website, was told by customer service that their transaction numbers had 12 digits and unless this seller could provide with ebay item # for listing, it was a scam.
Follow Ups/Extra Information. Most recent is listed first.
I hope no one falls for this scam. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn't!

Hello,
My name is David, and I'm emailing you about the 2007 Keystone SUMMERLAND 6200 I have for sale. The camper is in perfect condition, with no need for any additional repairs. Flawless exterior/interior condition. It has never been involved in an accident. It has a clear title with no loans or liens on it. The price was reduced at $3,200 as I need to sell the camper before the 16th of July when I will be leaving with my platoon back to Afghanistan, so I don't want it getting old in my backyard. If you have any other questions, or need more info, please feel free to ask.
Thank you, David

Hi there,
Right now I am at the military base getting ready for Afghanistan. This means that I am doing a special training and I am not allowed to get out of the unit. The camper is already at the shipping company in Topeka KS sealed and ready for the shipping. My presence won't be necessary because I prearranged the deal with Amazon. The deal includes free delivery and it will arrive at your address in 3 days. You will have 5 days to test it and inspect it prior to making any purchase and if by any reason you find something you don't like about it you can send it back at my expense. If you are interested in knowing more info about how it works, i can ask Amazon to send you an email with more information on how to purchase it. Amazon will contact you shortly after they have the details with all the information that you need to complete this deal and you will also have proof that I am covered by them and a legitimate seller. If you would like to receive the email from Amazon with all the transaction information please reply with your full name and phone # and they will contact you right away.
Regards

I found this listing on Craigslist in Tampa, FL..the emails are word for word like some that others have received. None of his email replies had a phone number or a location to meet other than Tampa, FL. After reading that he is a scammer I have not emailed him back. What a shame he would use that story..
Hello,
My name is Bryan Foster, I'm emailing you regarding the 2007 Keystone SUMMERLAND 6200 that I have for sale. I'm selling the camper because my 21's years old son died 2 months ago in a car accident. A drunk driver hit him and his fiancee. He was with his fiancee's car coming to our home at his little brother birthday. It was his camper and it brings me bad memories and that's the reason I want to sell it as soon as possible The price that I'm asking is $3,200.00 Just let me know if you are still interested and where are you located.
Thank you, Bryan!
