Overpayment Scam
1 |  +1 Scentsy Order I was not aware of this type of scam until I searched for it. I have been scammed, I have all the emails from the sender. They will request an order, give you a wrong address to ship the items to. This person told me it was for a family gathering. Her uncle sent me the check but the amount was in error and more than the order total, so they ask for the balance back to be sent via money gram. What I don't understand is how the check went through my bank, it was never placed on hold. It was deposited and now the check has been withdrawn from my account. Here is the original email.

I know this is a scam, or course i didnt order anything for her, I am not that stupid, i saw someone else posted in December same name, same exact items. I have told her several times NICELY this:

Scentsy makes their website accessible for customers to place/pay for their orders by themselves. You must place your own order and pay online with a credit card. I can NOT place the order for you. I am sorry but you must do this yourself. Thank you so much
