I received an email saying i have been invited to apply for a job i once applied for dated 17 april. Went ahead with all the process including buying a software worth 60euro of which they stated in the invoice that it will be refunded. Though i had my doubts but went ahead as they only have my cv and picture. When working on the first task, i noticed the software was quite similar to excel and wondered why i has to purchase it when i can edit and work with excel, thats when the doubts kicked in fully. on completion of the task, i emailed them, and didnt hear back till after a few days when they requested for more personal information like passport, ID, driving licence, proof of address, bank statement....ROTFL. This was when i gave up and decided to do more search about the company, checking for how to verify the legitimacy of an organization, data protection acts etc. NB: a similar company already exists but located in Singapore, this one is in Germany. Below is the first letter they sent:
