Classified Ads Scam
|  Scammers Trying to buy my phone That was listed on Ksl. So I posted my phone for sale on Ksl. And this guys is interested in buying my phone. So I ask him how he plans to pay for it and he says that he uses PayPal. So I'm thinkin that PayPal is legit so I decide that PayPal is a good option. So I get his info, and send him an invoice via PayPal, and I accidentally got his gmail address wrong, so he says hey I didn't receive your e-mail. So I look things over and resend the invoice immediately with the right email address on it, and he quickly responds: oh I guess "it was in my spam folder, I got it now."so than he asks me when I can ship it, and when the post office will be open. And I tell him. So than he says that he's sending payment over right now.. (Mind you, the payment didn't show up in PayPal as a paid invoice) so than I get this gmail that went into my spam folder that is an obvious looking spam mail that is from..... Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that he was buying this phone for a gift for his girlfriend that was clear over in Wisconsin.. My phone and I are In Utah.. Weird |
