Autodesk job offer via text
 Scammer
  Information
Name:
Lorrie M. Norrington
Telephone:
1-802-277-1859
Texts letting me know that they found my information on an Internships website (I have had my profile deleted 6 months prior due to earlier similar text solicitations and being happily employed and not seeking work for over a year). This text said I got a job offer and needed to reply with more contact info. I have asked MANY times to be removed from their list and I have even submitted several FCC complaints. I have also let the scammer know I did so. I called Autodesk Inc, which is a real company, and let them know about the scam. The man was very nice and agreed that the person was using their company's reputation to scam job seekers.

BEWARE OF JOB OFFERS VIA TEXT! I've had several from Autodesk and one from WebMD. All fraud of course. All reported to the FCC

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
