I live in Annapolis, Maryland. This scammer acquired my email address after replying to a classified ad I placed within the furniture section of Craigslist.com. My item is valued at over $3,000.00, it is a Woodard Patio Table and Chair 5-Piece Set. I listed it for a mere price of $800.00 considering it is a few years old and my fiance and I simply need the space in our new loft. Our loft is on the 4th floor and is does not have a patio, porch, sun-room, or any place in which it would fit accordingly. This scammer first emailed me through the anonymous address Craigslist that provides for privacy concerns from firstname.lastname@example.org with the name "f d" and then contacted me, asking for any private information about my individual as he/she/they could get using a completely different email address, email@example.com (although I AM THE SELLER)!!!!
THIS IS THE FIRST EMAIL IN RESPONSE TO MY PRODUCT ON CRAIGSLIST:
"f d firstname.lastname@example.org via craigslist.org Nov 29 (2 days ago)
to pbmdq-34435605. Available? Plz let me know."
MY RESPONSE (I THOUGHT THIS WAS SOMEONE WHO WAS GENUINELY INTERESTED)
Nov 29 (2 days ago)
"to f The patio furniture is unhesitatingly ready, willing, and able to emigrate to a welcoming residence! If you would like enhanced pictures and/or additional specifications in conjunction with the furniture, we will not hesitate to accommodate any extended technicalities. Accompanying the patio set, my fiance and I possess a surplus of stock in our inventory. The reservoir is accumulated within our predominant living quarters, rendering the usage of the zone virtually impracticable. In light of the premium monetary value regarding this merchandise, we abet to commission a proximate avenue while interchanging correspondence to authenticate diligent clientele. Our loft is in a notably safeguarded and barricaded location, validating rationale for scheduling meticulous and punctual arrangements to ensure your admission beyond security. This is imperative for any non-resident to acquire access and permission to advance beyond secured gates on the garage's first level. The loft is on the top floor and the furniture surpasses the capacity for both the stairwells and elevators. To avoid scams, my fiance and I will only accept cash in exchange for this furniture upon your observation and verdict of viewing the set. This set will exclusively be sold in its entirety and will not be sold in pieces. To better assist you, my number is (555)555-5555 (cell) my fiance's is (555)555-5555 (cell)- in case you would rather call a local number."

This matches exactly with what another person posted about this scammer. I WILL BE contacting this person again to 'phish' some information and possibly add to discovering more about his/her/their identities. This sickens me. I wish more people would take time to report these individuals and add them to an index like this site.
