Yeah just had one of these yesterday and same response.
Thanks for mailing back,am ok with the price and the condition.I'm at sea at the moment as petroleum engineer on a rig offshore,i won't be able to come for the inspection due to the nature of my work and i would have called but our calling is restricted.Regarding the payment,i will be paying you through PayPal,pls get back to me with your paypal details so i can process the payment,you can alternatively send your bsb and acct number if you have no paypal acct.I have also contacted my courier who will come for pick up after the whole fund has been cleared into your acct. Await your reply.
I thought this was a scam and thought I would ask about the money and pick up and this was his reply.
sure mate,the whole fund will be cleared before my agent come around to pick it up,i would have come to see it in person but due to the nature of my work.my courier will come for the inspection and also do the signing of the paper work.Get back to me with your payment details so that i can proceed with the payment asap as i will like it delivered to my place before my arrival. thanks.
After this I thought I would google his name to see if it was a scam and so far I have found it clear that it must be so I asked him for his contact details. He gave me this.

Same as b4, exactly the same e-mail.

Same scam as all the others. Asking what we wanted for our ride, lowest price etc etc. Also said he was on offshore rig and couldn't phone so had to work by email. Agreed to price and said he would arrange courier to pick up vehicle once funds cleared. Asked for either paypal or bank account details to pay money into. Gave him an old unused bank account as we were suspicious, also asked him for his personal details for transfer papers, but that's when he clammed up. Rang our bank and they advised that he couldn't access any of our accounts on the little information we gave him. Beware of this scammer.
