1 |  +1 Craigslist scam Tried to purchase my car but said he was in the marines and was buying car for an uncle. Said that he wanted me to set up a paypal account and he would pay the full price through there. then once the payment went through he would have someone pick up the car. Goggled him and was brought to this website and someone got pretty much the same email. |

This almost succeeded, the thing that got us was he was willing to pay full price and he was posing as a Marine. But when they changed names and asked for $1,700.00 up front we bailed out.

I have just made the payments now and i expect paypal to have sent the
payment notification to you by now,check your paypal email
address.check your inbox,spam,junk if you have been messaged yet,i
sent the sum of $17,200.00 USD in all,paypal said they would be
holding the funds because of the excess payments of $1,500.00 USD
added meant for the pick up of the posting and due to the fact that i
emailed them about the excess payment made,i will need you to send the
sum of $1,500.00 USD to my pick up agent via Western Union money
transfer,as i also included the sum of $200.00 USD for the western
union charges.Here is my pick up agent info needed to get the money
sent via Western Union money transfer Below:
