Thanks a lot for the email .I am away at sea at the moment,i work with New Zealand Oil and Gas (NZOG) and we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kapo project. We do not have access to phone at the moment, its 15days off and 15days on,which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility.

I am buying this for my for my father, and i want it to be delivered before my arrival in NT . However, does it have any history I should be aware of? and why are you selling if you don\'t mind my asking.I am already in talks with the courier that will handle the pick-up and delivery to my family .

As regards the payment, I can pay you through direct bank deposit, using ppal instant bank wire transfer service, I will need your bank details. If you are not comfortable with that, you can set up apaypal account proper at http://www.paypal.com.au/ and I will make the payment through paypal, this way, all I will need is your paypal email address.

Cheers!!

Same guy has tried to purchase a machine from us on Machines4u, claimed to be out of phone service after first making contact with us via a text message. Acted out the exact same way as listed on here, have put copies of all correspondence below. Sent through a PayPal receipt, which was then followed by another email stating the payment wouldn't be credited to our PayPal account until we had transferred AUD$1250 via Western Union into the following account for transport costs (That he had included in the payment made to us): Charlene Finney, 71 Holloway Road, Highbury & Islington, PO31 7DA, United Kingdom After contacting PayPal as the email came through from meme11mee@gmail.com on behalf of service@paypal.com.au i was informed that PayPal will never hold a payment pending another payment that the receiver has to make. Obviously put a lot of thought and time into coming up with his story, as it covers almost all the bases and could appear to be legitimate (appart from the spelling and punctuation mistakes).
FIRST EMAIL: Thanks a lot for the email .I am away at sea at the moment,i work with New Zealand Oil and Gas (NZOG) and we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kapo project. We do not have access to phone at the moment, its 15days off and 15days on,which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility. I am buying this for my for my father, and i want it to be delivered before my arrival in WA . However, does it have any history I should be aware of? and why are you selling if you don't mind my asking.I am already in talks with the courier that will handle the pick-up and delivery to my family . As regards the payment, I can pay you through direct bank deposit, using ppal instant bank wire transfer service, I will need your bank details. If you are not comfortable with that, you can set up apaypal account proper at http://www.paypal.com.au and I will make the payment through paypal, this way, all I will need is your paypal email address.
SECOND EMAIL: Thanks for the detailed explanation ,please confirm your firm price as i dont want misunderstanding in the payment and I really appreciate your honesty as that is what i really need most as wont be able to come for inspection as am at work ,just want to buy the it as a surprise package for my father to show my appreciation as he celebrate his 60th birthday in my absentia and i really believe he will really enjoy it.I would have love to ask for inspection but am making it a %100 surprise package for my father and i dont want him to know about it until it delivered. Happy to inform you that i have now upgraded my paypal account to business merchant account so i can transfer the fund into your nominated account from my paypal account . Please advise me of the details so i can make the transfer ASAP and after have sorted out with the payment i have a private courier that will come for the pick up and make a personal delivery for my father.
THIRD EMAIL: Thanks for the detailed explanation and the details, happy to inform you that i will transfer the fund into your account soon. Please am trying to sort out with the pick up agent though am having little problem with them now but hope to sort it out soon. i will email you when am done with the payment. Thanks
FOURTH EMAIL: Hi Mate, Please i just got a mail from the shipping company now that i will need to pay for the freighting fees before they can schedule pre-shipping/ pickup date, they charged $1,150aud for the pick up and delivey, but the problem is they only accept western union money transfer as form of payment which is sent to their HQ in the UK. As you are well aware of, I am away at sea and do not have access to western union, most post offices have western union section, will it be ok with you if I add the $1,150aud to the amount I am transferring? and as soon as the money goes through you can help me make the western union transfer of the freighting fees through western union money transfer? You are not obliged to help me, but i will indeed appreciate your help as I am a little incapacitated here.
FIFTH EMAIL: Hi Mate, Thanks for your kind gesture,Happy to inform you that I have just made the payments now and i expected paypal to have emailed by now, please check your spam/junk folder as I sometimes get paypal notification there,I sent $7,250aud in all, paypal said they would be holding the funds and it won't be credited into your account because of the excess payments of $1,250aud i added meant for pick up and delivery, they said they have emailed you to this effect, you will need to send the $1,150aud to the freighting company headquarters via western union money transfer,so that paypal can credit the $7,250aud into your account as soon as you have emailed the western union details to them, i added extra $100aud to cover the western union charges which shouldnt be more that $60-80aud but just to be sure i added $100aud.All you have to do is go to the western union out let and pick the transfer form and here is the pick up agent info needed to get the money sent through western union money transfer: Charlene Finney, 71 Holloway Road, Highbury & Islington, PO31 7DA, United Kingdom Cheers!
