Exact same wording as the others in the initial email.. ... when I replied his response was this:
"Hi, thanks for the response, however, I can only conclude this transaction only via PayPal,i have been duped via cheque and bank transfer before, that is why i selected PayPal(www.paypal.com ) as a mode of payment because PayPal is the best online payment,so both of us could be on the safer side,i am a man of integrity.i am honest and don't cheat people out of their money,i own my company that have a 25 number of people working for me,awaiting your decision because i really need to pursue this buy sincerely.
which I found really fishy so I googled him.... man of integrity.. hah!

Same scam was attempted with me. Wording of the text message and follow up email was identical. The phone number that he/she texted me from is 1-647-795-3783. Thanks to those that are posting these scams - helps protect us all.

I received a text message from 1-587-782-7820 asking if i still had the car and what the lowest price i would consider is and to respond via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
So i responded to his email saying that i still had it for sale and would consider a lower offer, asking what number he had in mind.
He sent me this back:
Thanks for the swift response and do as well advise on the least amount you will like to give it away as i am buying this for Dad and due to the nature of my job and location...i will not be able to come for inspection,am a very busy type as i work long hours everyday,i have gone through your advertisement and i am satisfied with it. As for the payment..i can only pay via the fastest and secure way to pay online(PayPal) here.I have a private courier agent that will come for the pick up after the payment have been made ...so no shipping included and With the issue of my details, transferring the name of ownership and signing of all paperwork will be done by the courier services company agent so you don't have to worry about that.
