Michael Orley THANKS TO THIS PERSON LISTING THIS SCAM, I DIDN'T GET CAUGHT UP IN IT!!! Scammer Information Name Michael Orley/Samuel Collins More Like This Email Address chunlu566@gmail.com Scam Details I listed a vehicle on Craigslist to sell a gentleman named "Michael Orley" claiming to be an oceanographer and was overseas emailed me to purchase the vehicle. He had me set up a paypal account to send the money to. He ( they ) were very convincing. To make an extremely long story short he persuaded me to send his "shipping agent" Samuel Collins 900.00 dollars to come get the vehicle via western union. I thought it was legit as I was also receiving emails from paypal as well. After I realized my husband and I had gotten scammed I notified the FBI my local police department and craigslist as well as this website. I was scammed out of 976.00 dollars. So everyone beware if you get an email ( make sure you check email addresses by scrolling over them with you mouse ) from chunlu566@gmail.com/PP759@TechEmail.com or joanmarie513@aol.com IT IS A SCAM SEND THEM NOTHING AND REPORT IT TO YOUR LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENT OR THE FBI.

He is out again this wk. I posted a car for sale at Craig list and got exactly the same story. He clearly lacks innovation. Thank God I googled his name. The problem is he is allowed to continue to attempt to scam innocent people.

Just and FYI. . . He is still at it! I am selling a quad on Craig's list and received an email with the same BS about being and Oceanographer, buying my quad for his son and wanting to pay for it via Pay Pal. I sent him an email back and said I was uncomfortable with Pay Pal and would like for him to Pay Pal his money to his son and have his son bring me the Cash. He emailed me back and completely ignored my previous email requesting cash, so I started digging. Luckily for me this site was in place and for me . . . I will not be scammed. But I did want to let others know this guy is still out there working his magic! BE CAREFUL.

i posted earlier after i had found these reports that this gentleman is a fraud and when i checked my email just now i had one from him again just like the others stating we needed to pay his shipper 900 and he would send the money along with payment for the item to our paypal account.please do not give this man any personal info or send him any money MICHAEL ORLEY!

we are selling a motorcycle and he emailed me syaing he was interested but the wording was a little funny so i decided to check it out a little bit and found several stories on here about the same man and they all had recieved almost the same exact email as me with him claiming to be an oceanographer and needing to use paypal and stuff thank goodness you all reported it so the info was there for me to see before we went any further with this transaction!

Mr. Orley tried but was unsuccessful to get me to pay $900 for a freight company to pick-up a motorcycle that he allegedly wanted to purchase. It was very suspicious and when I googled his name he has done similar scams in he past. Unfortunately successfully to others. . I included one of his emails below. They all seem to be very similar. He claims he is an Oceanographer and travels often. Sellers beware!! Do not do business with this man.

claimed to be an oceanographer and tried to scam me $900.00 for some bull shit moving company! i was selling a four wheeler.
