Overpayment Scam
1 |  +3 Paypal car scam Donedeal This guy sent a text message, unusual in the fact that it had no number showing only that it was sent from mjdallimore enquiring about a car I have advertised on Donedeal and if it was still for sale. He asked me to reply swiftly to the email address above. After a few exchanges via email I got suspicious as he wanted to buy the car for €14,000 without even viewing it. As before, he was going to transfer funds via paypal. I googled his name and stumbled across this website and previous reports about Anthony McCauley. Beware, this scumbag is still up to his old tricks!! He may also use the name Mark Anthony McCauley. |

Puse un anuncio para vender un coche en autoscout24 (España) y recibà un mensaje en el teléfono móvil
con remitente "irmalpozo" diciendo que me pusiese en contacto mediante este correo electrónico. Intercambiamos algunos mensajes, insitio mucho en cual era el mÃnimo que aceptarÃa por el coche para hacerme una oferta, pero le conteste en repetidas ocasiones que solo negociarÃa personalmente. Me pareció bastante sospechoso, rastree la IP sin éxito, asà que busque la dirección de correo y me salio esta página, sospechas confirmadas!

I advertised a car for sale, the guy sents a text message (from a denmark mobile number) asking if car is still for sale and swiftly reply by email. Name used in my case was Marie Colbin (Austrian actress :-), he was buying the car without asking too many questions, supposed payment via PayPal but very quick retrieval via shipping company. Did a quick research and came across this website where I saw similar scam using this email address.
