1 |   Craigslist Scammer This guy texted me that he was willing to purchase, then when I texted back within minutes, no reply. Then I called the phone number & left a message, no reply. I thought it strange someone would express interest then not return a text or phonecall in the same hour of expressing interest. Then a day or two later, here is the text I got from him. When I looked up his name & city/state, previous scam info came up for him. \"I am Gerry Wollam by name and am from Magna, Utah, i\'m okay withthe present condition has started in the advert and the asking price, due to the long distance the easiest way for me to make the payment is through a bank check, i\'ll wait till your bank verify and clears the check before we proceed withthe shipment and i will also handle the pickup and delivery when the check cleared.\" Luckily I googled him or I would have been scammed as the first person whom reported. |
