This scammer goes by the name of Carl Cross. We met on a site called Do U LIKE. We started out chatting and he told me he was born and raised in Switzerland and moved to NY a few years ago and has a business where he deals in antiques and diamonds. we exchanged email addresses and then began talking on the phone. The so called Mr. Cross told me he was going to be traveling to Malaysia to buy goods for his business and when he got there he would call me. A few days passed and sure enough he called me from a Malaysia and told me about some of the stuff he bought for his business and we continued to talk daily. He then proceeded to tell me that with everything that he bought he needed a 40 foot container and didn\'t have enough money to have his goods shipped and if I could help him, at first I was reluctant and he assured me he would pay me back my money even forwarded me a copy of his passport, documentation for clearance for his shipment, his home address in NY and his flight reservation. Then I began to notice when he called different phone numbers began to show up and when I asked him about it of course he had an for everything. Mr. Cross told me that his wife died of breast cancer a few years back and he was raising his son and he brought him with him on this trip. Then his son got sick and he sent me a picture of him being taken to the hospital on a stretcher and it broke my heart to see this kid sick in a different country. Then the night mare began he was running into one problem after another and I was sending him money. I sent The Swiss embassy a copy of his passport where I learned it was fake and started to do more research on my own and found out everything was a lie. This man ended up scamming me out of $26,000.00. I have reported this to the Royal Malaysian Police with all the information that I have on this man and they will not respond to me or answer my emails and when I called they hear my name they hang up on me. I have a feeling they know who he is!
