I was privately invited to chat on Skype. We were chatting for a few weeks and I started seeing red flags. I was on the alert all the time and expected trouble. He said he was a German major at Kabul, Afghanistan, and they are there for peace talks. I was promised a lot, which sounded too good to be true. Then in the 4th week of chatting, he told me that they found lots of money and they were allowed to share it. He wanted to send his share to me for safe keeping till he would arrive in South Africa and I had to e-mail the diplomat who would deliver it to me. I first didn\'t want to, but thought I would say I would receive it to see what happened next. I then received an e-mail from the diplomat that a fee of $1980 was payable before the suitcase with the money would be released from Ghana. The major said that it was not a problem, because he will send me the code of the suitcase so that I could get my money back. That was when I pulled out and shut my yahoo messenger off. I want other women to be warned against the people who have stolen other\'s identities and play on their feelings to get money out of them. I have lost no money, but they have wasted my time, but at least I learned a lot. I am sure there are many women who fell for this \'major\'!
