Started as one would expect on a dating website to exchange introductory messages, however, this one was quick to ask to go onto a private email to continue the exchanges. Within days of the exchanges this person was all in love and wanted a relationship. Said he was self employed with contract work for the government on oil rigs around the world. Said he was a widower, mother still lives in London, father deceased (Canadian). No children. Espoused all kinds of endearments for a future together. However, the skeptic that I am not once gave encouragement. Then came the news that there was an accident on the rig that he and his 10 man international team were on. Then came the 2 fatalities and 4 serious injuries. I, being a caring individual, thought well that should be in the news but nothing. So rather than search for the news I searched for the situation \"Dating oil rig accidents\" and to my horror discovered that there are website reporting the same nearly identical situation. Even found wording of some of his sentences using \'coz\' instead of \'cause\' or because. Have alerted Match.com of this person however, feel that I must report it so that others may find it before getting their life savings squandered in a scheme.
