I received a text message headed WebSMS asking if my car on Exchange and Mart was still for sale. I was asked to respond to his email address with a firm price. I did this and received a strange rambling email form him telling me he was buying the car as a surprise for his son who had just graduated from university and was top of his class. he asked me to accept a wire transfer via paypal and he would arrange a courier to collect the car, he didn't want to see the car as he trusted me. I responded that I did not deal with paypal and would only deal with him on a face to face transaction. His response was that he worked on a North Sea Gas rig and was away for 30 days at a time so this was the only way to buy the car. He again tried to pursuade me that I needed to open up a paypal account and send him the details. I refused this offer and haven't heard from him since. The messages he sent me were full of spelling and grammar errors and his use of the english language was suspect to say the least. Also the fact that his son had "just" graduated didn't ring true in November !!

I have deleted all of the texts and emails as I do not want his info on my PC
