Secret/Mystery Shopper Scam
1 |  +1 Selling on gumtree - Kate and Alex Bennet I am trying to sell my car on gumtree. Got a text message from "Kate" - No number, and my phone identified the seller as Kate - asking me if the car is still available. She asked me to email his husband Alex at alexbennett090@gmail.com. It was a bit suspicious, but I emailed that the car is still available.
This is what I got.
"Thanks for the prompt response,I'm satisfied with the condition of what am buying as advertised in the ad,i will like to add you £50 to the final offered for you to keep it off from all other offer and consider it sold to me alone as i am serious with with the purchasing,I would have come for the inspection and make the transaction done in person but due to the nature of my work i couldn't.I am making the use of a shipping company to have this picked up from your residential home address...i need some pictures as soon as possible since i can't make an attempt to see the item.i'll like to know the following:
(1)how long have you had it?
(2) i will like to know the reason why you are selling it..
(3)hope i'll enjoy it?
Note that i'll be responsible for shipping and handling. I have decided to use the program "Buyer and Seller Protection" offered by PayPal Inc. I want only legit transactions! Giving the nature of this transaction please note that PayPal will protect us. If you are not aware of how they work you should know that they will give both of us proper protection and also if you don't have an account yet you can simply set up one viawww.paypal.com after payment is confirmed to you by PayPal, you'll receive terms and conditions that will protect both of us. Inspections will be done by the moving company as soon as payment is verified.If you wish to proceed selling this to me,please provide me your full name, address(street,city,postal,
state) and your PayPal email address so that I can initiate the payment as soon as i can.

I know that there is an opportunity to get your money back on paypal. Also, he could not buy a car in the uk without signing the V5 personally. I looked him up and found another scam with this address.

i was selling TV and this guy caling him self Eric Johnson has contacted me:
Great! please consider it sold and take the ads down off gumtree,i am buying it for my cousin and i am ready to pay your full asking price, i have read through the advert and i'm totally satisfied with it and i will be glad if you can get back to me with some pics if available,sadly i won't be able to come for the inspection and pick up due to my disabilities,i loss my hearing and being on a wheelchair but I have a courier agent that will help me to pick it up at your preferred location.
Regarding the payment i can only pay via PayPal at the moment and I will be responsible for all the PayPal fee/charges on this transaction kindly get back to me with your PayPal email and the pick up location so that i can inform the courier agent about it now?

After that he said that he made paypall transaktion but i havent recieved any just email from paypall:
