Scammer messaged me on Wallapop under the name "Tien D.", claiming their phone was faulty. They provided me with the email "joevickttour@gmail.com" and asked me to email as they could "barely see my message". I sent an email stating the condition and price of the item, as they asked. I received a response, but the name attached to the email this time was "Victor Joe". He said he would add $50 to the price of my item if I would hold it 2-3 days, and would have his assistant mail me a bank check if I would provide him with my personal information. I responded simply with "Please do not contact me again," and noticed that someone else had reported this same scammer here.

I applied for an administrative job on Zip Recruiter for the "Harris Corporation" I have received a few emails, but deleted them. Was curious today and did a search. .

My name is Victor Joe, I am an Artist and i travel a lot to do and sell art works, I also buy ideas, Artifacts, antics and materials from ancient cities and I have got so many clients as companies, individuals and governmental institutions and private museums. I have been pretty successful in my business, I get involved in several art deals in United States & Canada. I am most very often get my hands occupied, so it is imperative for me to have a worthy personal assistant. Due to the nature of my job, It requires frequent traveling so i need someone to handle my schedule when I'm not in town, Every instructions will be given to you via email and phone for now until i'm back, I travel a lot so that is the main reason why i need you to be my personal assistant and i want you to begin work immediately. Claimed to be in Puerto Rico and was in immediate need of a Personal Assistant and was willing to pay $25/hr....they got my resume on Zip Recruiter posted from a person named "Stacey Starnes". He was to have office equipment and a sign on bonus sent to my home and would deposit money into my bank account to cover expenses until he returned to the US. I decided to look up who Victor Joe, Artist from West Chandler, AZ was....of course there was no one. I decided to be a good personal assistant by asking my new employer if I could get a webpage or Facebook page showing some of his work so I could become familiar with it, and I let him know the only thing I could find was from Scamalot.....haven't heard from him since and I don't think I will!!
