Business Venture Scam
| Andy Liu (Hong Kong email scammer re: a US debt) From off my Yelp ad, I first received an email from someone needing a lawyer. The scammer was posing to be someone who wasn't paid back after loaning a lot of money to a person who lives in my city. A second email actually named the debtor and his home address (after checking the county's appraisal district website, the debtor's name and address actually checked-out as being accurate). Attached to the second email was the purported loan agreement ... but, it looked fake to me. After running scammer's name through a search engine, this scammer had previously been reported by the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society - so I didn't fall for it. You don't either!!|

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
