This person sent a letter to my mother referring to a relative and client of him in United Arab Emirates who has deceased. He proposes to set up an agreement to share this persons fortune of 37 mill USD - 40% each and the remaining 20 % to charity.

He claims to be a Belgian lawyer, but the mail is sent from Bucharest,Romania.

He does not answer his phone, but wants to be contacted by fax/e-mail.

We tried the e-mail address on the website instead of the personal e-mail addresses he proposed. He replies the e-mail, but we can se that it is simeonleroy60@gmail.com who anwers on behalf of the business address. Simeon Leroy is a well known scam name according to Scamdex.

We did not pursue any further to find the logic of the scam.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
