The scam is the newer version of the Allen and Violet Large Foundation - you can find the info on the same site under the link ( http://www.scamdex.com/ScamTipReports/7504 ), if you want to compare the data for yourself. Also, the scam is being sent from the third party\'s email address, so be careful when you check from who it is - I got it from someone named Deborah Thornton - the person seems legit, even email can be found on the net, if you search for it, but they don\'t do any work for this \'charity foundation\'. And the last nail in this coffin of stupidity of an email - check the \'personal email\' - you can see it is [allenviolet-charityfoundation@hotmail.co.uk], and if you cross-reference it, it comes suspiciously near largeallen2000@yahoo.co.uk - and I\'ve found another version of the scam here: ( https://mail.gna.org/public/spam/2013-11/msg00778.html ). Note the huge amounts of money mentioned, and that clause of ....\'Do not reply back for security reasons. Just contact the donor with your code via personal email...\'. These are the warning flags in any of the scam email of this type being sent around. The spelling here is also faulty (word \'wiith\' - should have been \'with\'). Final words - It\'s a scam, plain and simple. | |||
