I placed an ad in Gumtree to sell my vehicle. This fellow was very persistent and it just didn\'t seem to ring true. We googled the info and found almost identical scams listed here. Aaron did not appear to be responding to my emails appropriately and kept asking for me email . I was in fact contacting him via email.

Hello Mate, i am happy to proceed with the payment as soon as i receive the PayPal registered name and email by transferring the amount of the price listed but I just want to know more about the car to make sure its in good condition before i proceed with the payment,can you assure me i will not be disappointed???And also need to inform you about this,just received an email from my pick up agent stated that they won\'t come for the pick up unless i pay the agent commission fee first to their HQ in China in order to be able to schedule a pick up time and an appropriate agent to pick it up here at your residence.I am off shore New Zealand Oil and Gas (NZOG) and we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kapo project,I am so busy and can not pay the agent fee from here as they Requested that i pay them via Western Union.So what i will do here is that i will send the payment in the total sum amount of $5,800.00 AUD.So once you receive the confirmation of the payment from PayPal,you will deduct the promised amount for the goods which is $4,300.00 AUD and the remaining $1,500.00 AUD will be send down to their HQ as said above via Western Union Money Transfer in order to authorize an agent within Australia to pick up the car bought.I have tried to paid it directly here but there is no Western Union on the ship,So please bear with me and understand my present predicament here as i believe you can handle it for me.

Note: The courier agent is within Australia to pick up the car after the payment might been completed.

Thanks for getting back to me,The price of what am buying as advertised is okay by me by offering $100 to hold it and make sure it sold to me alone.. I will strongly like to make an outright purchase of this immediately due to your Integrity as stated in your ad which shown that your a real seller,I really love the condition of what am buying but please for further assurance that this real just email me some pictures of it asap.. I may sound rude,but please understand that i have to be caution of what am buying as well due to untruthful seller here.. I would have come down myself for the inspection and make the transaction done in person but due to the nature of my work i couldn't..i'll like to know the following:

Scam Email
Selling motor parts on gumtree. usual stuff can\'t call, emails only send money to paypal account and courier to pick up. Then he has the gall to say I hope you are honest. Wont say what it is he wants to buy etc. Lucky we did a search on this cretin on scamdex.
