STREAM PRIME/NOWERA INTERNATIONAL and CEO, Christopher Christian: STOP Scamming, defrauding, cheating Independent Consultants,

Having been an Independent Consultant for almost 30 years, my practice, like most Independent Consultancies is built on my own quality of work and the honesty and integrity of the Companies I work with. Independent Consultancies are a contract driven business sector. However, the contract is only as good as the company behind it. Further, as a women business owner and entrepreneur; a segment of the business sector seeing explosive growth and with the struggling economy is expected to grow exponentially over the next few years), I am particularly infuriated by those corporations with dubious practices, unethical goals (sometimes not immediately evident), and questionable products and services. I am especially annoyed by online schemes that prey on companies struggling for a footing in the market place. Independent Consultants and business consumers need a mechanism to fight back.

Stream Prime/ Nowera International

Christopher Christian, CEO of Stream Prime, contacted me in March 2011, wanting me to do some marketing research focused closely on various communities and their specific cultural nuances for a business product Stream Prime was planning on launching in third quarter 2011.
Their goal, according to Christian, was to enable businesses to have an ongoing stream of current information, culturally relevant to specific markets their small business consumers wanted to serve. For doing the preliminary work in the 300 industries Christian identified I would be provided with a contract that included stock and a percentage of sales in the industry of my choice, in addition to a biweekly fee payment for heading a division of Independent Consultants he called the â€œCultural Assessment Teamâ€. The team would commence functioning at the public launching of the new Stream Prime product Christian lauded as \"changing the way America does business\".
After some research on the company and its parent holding company, Nowera International, formerly Gemini Group, and about ten hours of back and forth contract adjustments, I accepted Christian\'s offer and executed a signed contract. I became more excited by the idea of an American Corporation that would actually attempt to be concerned about understanding and catering to cultural subtleties and differences of their target markets instead of the normal greed and trickery of marketing conducted by the majority of American Corporations only concerned about their bottom line at any cost.

The Scam

I did the preliminary market research which required about 200 hours and after training six other independent contractors, all recruited and contracted by Stream Prime, several other delays, beta testing issues and some redesigning of the platform, in the fourth quarter of 2013 the Stream Prime Product was finally launched. Per our contracts, leading the â€œNavcom Cultural Assessment Teamâ€, we began to complete the weekly market research quota that Steam Prime required. However, when the first pay day arrived no payment was received for my team or me. Initially blamed on verification of our direct deposit accounts and then on needing verification that my team\'s work met requirements. However, after both were verified, Christian gave some internal issue as the cause for the payment delays and informed me that it would be \"about\" six weeks before the problem could be resolved. I informed the team and instructed them to cease work until problems were resolved. What reputable company brings on a team without the means to pay them or at least in good faith provide information so that the consultant can make an informed decision as to the impact on his/her cash flow.? These action gives rise to intentional fraud and questions of competence and quality of internal management systems and protocols. This especially rings true for me since all negotiations with me were conducted through the CEO, Christopher Christian himself. Of course after the six weeks and many inquiries, Stream Prime and Christian stopped responding and still no payments.
We are taking all legal actions available to us, however being the activist that I am, hating injustice, corporate greed and consumer manipulation of any kind; my concern is not only for the current independent consultants cheated under the contracts with Stream Prime but it appears that the company is continuing to recruit other consultants AND IS also actively seeking investors. If these actions are examples of the integrity of this company and how it treats its internal partners, what behavior and quality can be expected from the products or services this company claims to want to provide or the return for the investors.

This type of Corporate Fraud/Scam activity must be stopped. Independent Consultants and Business Consumers need to be made aware of Stream Prime/Nowera Internationalâ€™s unscrupulous activity. Stream Prime needs to pay the Navcom Cultural Assessment Team and the Independent Consultants in accordance with their executed contracts and cease all Independent Consultant contract negotiations until and unless all contract obligations are met in a reputable manner. Additionally, business consumers and entrepreneurs should proceed cautiously with this company until products and services promises can be proven to live up to questionable marketing hype.
