A man named Aaron Brent sent a text message to my husbands\' mobile saying he had no text card and could I e-mail him price details of the car. After a few to and fro e-mails we received the one below which confirmed our suspicions that this guy was trying to scam us!!!!! BEWARE -

Hello Mate, i am happy to proceed with the payment by transferring the amount of the price agreed but before any processing could take place as promised,I want to make sure the condition and history of the car are in accordance to be rest assure that it really in good condition rather.HOPE I CAN TRUST YOU and WON\'T BE DISAPPOINTED ?? If YES in any way, be also inform that i just received an email from my pick up agent stated that they won\'t come for the pick up unless i pay the agent commission fee first to their HQ in China in order to be able to schedule a pick up time and an appropriate courier agent to pick it up here at your residence.I am ZOOLOGIST here in Australia studies living organisms before i was transferred abroad and we are presently on a trip in bush where there\'s no reception,I am so busy and can not pay the agent fee from here as they Requested that i pay them via Western Union.So what i will do here is that i will send the payment in the total sum amount of $6,500.00 AUD to your nominated bank account.So once you receive the confirmation of the payment from PayPal,you will deduct the promised amount for the goods which is $5,000.00 AUD and the remaining $1,500.00 AUD will be send down to their HQ as said above via Western Union Money Transfer in order to authorize an agent within Australia to pick up the car bought.I have tried to paid it directly here but there is no Western Union on the ship,So please bear with me and understand my present predicament here as i believe you can handle it for me.

This scam is still going on. I advertised my car 4 days ago and yesterday they hit. The email reads exactly the same. He's also a ZOOLOGIST. he did get my bank details before I got the email asking for the Western Union transfer no damage done I transferred my funds to another account. Now have to close the account.
