Beijing Chiwest is part of CUCAS China University Scam - Be Careful!
 Scammer
  Information
Name:
CUCAS aka Peter Zheng aka Ying Tian Zheng
Email Address:
info@CUCAS.edu.cn
Scam Website:
Look at the website address and you will think this is some Chinese university. It is not. But they want you to believe that so you will pay them roughly $5,000 in tuition and processing fees which they do not itemize. And they do not want you to pay the university directly. They want you to pay another company called \"Beijing ChiWest\" which just so happens to be owned by the same guy who owns Cucas - Peter Zheng whose photo can be found with the scam details at http://ChinaScamPatrol.wordpress.com.

Their m.o. is to fish for victims by email and Skype using a database of foreign university and high school students who they tell they can get them scholarships to any university in China. They also tell the soon-y0-be-victim that CUCAS is part of the Ministry of Education and that they work for free.

Once the victim takes the bait and does all the paperwork they are then given links to paid review sites and phony testimonials before they are then told about the processing fee \"just in case the scholarship is denied\". You guessed it, the scholarship gets denied and these people give the victim one of two choices... forfeit the $999 processing fee or apply it towards another university where the students is accepted and CUCAS is paid a commission by the university. What makes this scam so special is that it is run by a former Chinese government official.
