Lottery Scam
|  Shell Petrolium Lottery Award You are sent an email telling you that you are ramdomly picked from email addresses and have won x amount of money. Your are given a Reference No. and not to share it with anyone so that there is no double claiming. The address and letter is very convincing but when words are spelt wrong, a red flag goes up. Then you are asked to give your name, city, country, telephone etc. Once they receive that info. they give you 3 choices of ways to send you the money. I used caution and sent an unused empty bank account just in case it wasn\'t legal. After you reply to that, they ask you to send a large amount of money by way of Western Union to cover legal fees to release the money and when you receive your money, you are to send them a varification that you received it. |
