I was trying to sale a few personal items on a classified website and this person contacted me and told me this elaborate story and stayed in touch with me for an entire week. They went on to tell me that they were on cadet on a navy ship and that they would need me to get in contact with there shipping company who would then pick up my item. In order to do that they were going to fedex me a cashiers check for my asking price and also enough money to cover the shipping fews. They wanted me to cash the check and then take cash to a western union and a walmart money gram place and buy some money orders and money grams and have them sent to someone else... Long story short I was very close to almost loosing $8600. I was able to stop my money orders and also my money grams only bc I had made them for next day pick up. I realized this was a scam when they got mad that the money wasn\'t a minute to minute transaction and they wanted me to cash another cashiers check that they had also sent.
