His email response was: "Thanks for getting back to me..I'm okay with the price as its within my budget likewise the condition as described on the advert,I work as a marine engineer and currently on a repair of a big construction work offshore which will take some time.We do not have access to phone at the moment due to the current status of the job.. Doing the supervising and checking of each section of the construction. and that's why I contacted you with internet messaging facility.Regarding the payment,i will be paying you through PayPal linked up with my westpac bank account,please get back to me with your paypal details so i can process the payment,you can alternatively send your bsb acct name and number if you have no PayPal acct.I have also contacted my courier who will come for pick up and deliver it to my place in Darwin after the whole fund has been cleared into your account.. Cheers" Thanks to you guys I found out he was a scammer and discontinued the sale. BUT then I accidentally deleted my ad on Gumtree and had to re-list it. To my surprise another scammer replied to my ad, this time using laurajenkins611@hotmail.com. She replied the same way. Firstly through a test message and then replied to the email I sent. The email read: "Thanks for your quick response.Am okay with the price and condition as stated on your AD.So keen to get the item before my arrival, because i will be coming home soon from work.I work in a petroleum project rig offshore company in New Zealand Taranaki Basin kupe project.Would have love to reach you on phone but we do not have access to phone network at the moment,due to heavy storm which affected our phone's network for days,that's why I contacted you with internet messaging facility.Won't be able to come for the inspection due to the nature of my work.Will be paying you through PayPal or transferring the money from my paypal wire bank transfer to your bank account,pls get back to me with your PayPal details or bsb bank details, so i can proceed with the payment into any of the two and contact the courier agent who will come to pick it up and deliver it in my place.
