| Phone scammer telling me i have won $2.5 million and a car I got a call from John Spencer with Cash Back Global Winnings. He stated that I had won a car and $2.5 million. In order to claim my prize I was instructed to call 866-996-5997 and enter claim # 007745 and then to phone him back at 876-844-3841. After doing so he told me that a U.S. Marshal by the name of Steven Greene would be bringing me my winnings. He then asked for credit card or debit card information so that he could deposit $15k in order that I could pay them the $8k in delivery fees. I then looked up his name and number on line and found it to be a money laundering and identity theft scam. They make it appear as though they have deposited this money. You then send them what amount they have requested. Their deposit then bounces and you have already paid them so you are now out whatever amount of that $15k that you have spent. |

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
