Attention

Sir,
My apologies in advance for contacting you in this manner, the need
is extremely urgent and I have no other option available. I am an
accountant and a member of the audit committee of the Federal
Ministry of Environment in Nigeria, explicitly designated with the
responsibility to provide:- oversight of the financial reporting
process, the forensic audit process, the system of internal
controls and compliance with laws and regulations. In the course of
our duty, we discovered among other things, that the sum of
$16,400,000.00 USD is in suspense in the account of the Federal
Ministry of Environment at Central Bank of Nigeria unclaimed. After
a more thorough investigation, we discovered that the amount was
the result of an over-invoiced contract which was awarded in 2014
for the supply of Scavenger Depollution Boats with Voraxial
Separators for the cleaning of the oil spills/habours in the oil
producing areas of Niger Delta. When contacted, the Chief Financial
Officer of the Federal Ministry of Environment confessed in strict
confidence that the over-invoicing of the original contract sum was
masterminded by the Contract Award Committee with his consent and
full collaboration, and with the sole intention to transfer and use
the money. Due to the caliber of people involved in the deal, we
have therefore teamed up with them to finalize, tidy -up the
account records and close the deal with your assistance and
cooperation, as we need a foreign firm/individual to be presented
by us as a sub-contractor for the claim of the money, hence they
have mandated me to contact you.

Upon receipt of your reply confirming your interest in working with
us on this project, we will discuss the terms of transaction and
give you details as we have carefully worked out the modalities
for a safe transfer of the fund without putting any party in any
kind of danger during and after the deal had been concluded.
N/B: Please, this information should under no circumstance be
divulged to any other person or persons for security reasons. Thank
you for your understanding expected.
Warm regards,
Prof. MARTIN AKOBUNDU
