Name:

Scam Website:
I was contacted via email stating I had won a US new year lottery @ $820.000.
Of course, the 'winner' is required to 'claim' their prize by paying a sum for monies to be placed in their bank..........
Surely these scammers can simply be banned from the net? They appear all the time in very similar format so a basic blanket ban for anything claiming to be MSN/Yahoo etc based in South Africa but initially claiming to be based in the US and run by any of the three names that appear, should be simple to eliminate?
Why is it that no ammount of blocking these scammers actually works? A few months later they pop up again with a slightly different take on their fraud.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
