Scam Website:
I received an email saying Ms. Bettencourt wished to bestow a large amount of money. I was directed to contact Mr. Barry Phillip of Lloyds Bank Plc. I was told not to mention this to anyone. I was sent a form to fill out with all my personal details as well as wire a FEE dependent on the type of account I wished to open. When I asked if there was someone at the bank who could verify his id and employment, he said he would send me a copy of Mrs. Bettencourt expired passport as well as his "badge from Lloyds" He did send a copy of someone on a Lloyd's with the name of Barry Phillips on it. At this point I asked why there was a fee to open an account, there are no fees to open a bank account in the USA. When I began to really question things, he became a little mean with his directions. He changed from having my fees sent to Lloyd's to a lady in California. Her name was Bernadette Gaviola at "American Canyon" California. He said I had to wire the fees before he could forward the funds. I was already a little on edge but this really felt like theft to me. Needless to say I called the Lloy's bank and no one could assure me whether he was indeed an employee of Lloyds. Then I started research the web and found this page. I pray you find him. I have cancer and if we had gone through this it would cripple our savings. Please do what you can to catch this man, he is evil. He gave me a phone number that maybe you could do a reverse directory search and find him. The number is: 011(+44 7937629019)
