1 |  +2 Gloria Joubert at it again as Steven Morris Got an email from 'Steven Morris' wanting to buy a motorbike I had advertised on Gumtree. Said he was working offshore etc and wanted to buy as a surprise gift for his son. The same person obviously as many others on this site. Contacted me via email see below. Said that the money was in my PayPal account and would be released when I had transferred courier money to Gloria Joubert !!!!!! |

As published by a previous gumtree user. A minute and a half after posting my ad to sell my motorcycle - I recieved a text message from a person claiming to be Steven Morris. This person asked me to contact them on their private email address. The text message had no number. The story was identical - "Steven" was working away, wanted the bike for his son - even offered to pay more than the asking price to hold the bike. Alarm bells started to ring - did a little digging. Seems like the person behind Sir Steven Morris is a serial con. Offered to pay my paypal fees, they claimed they would send money to the paypal account etc..
Beware of this person. I understand not everyone will get caught out but it is worth noting.
