I just thought it would be the right thing to do and let you know I\'ve been targeted by a known scammer (only found this out when I googled his details and found his name and many other similar car scams he has done on a scamster website) I have a car for sale in the Quokka Online and he was trying to buy it on the 16/8/12. I first recieved an enquiry email which I responded to from a davidscott993@gmail.com asking what was the lowest i\'d go selling the car. I replyed him and he said yes he\'d buy it and was very interested and he was a very busy person so could only pay via paypal and had a link on his email to the paypal website. Thank god I didnt use the link but i did get a bit sucked in until the red flags started popping up, from the start his english wasnt written very well and he wouldnt say where he was from and when i asked any questions he didnt answer directly, he just kept asking for my paypal acc and not to worry about anything, he said he would send his personal agent over to pick up the car and inspect the car after he had deposited the money into my paypal account, and he offered to pay $100 more than I was asking. He Also goes by other email addresses that are almost the same, but they usually includes his name david scott and 1993.
