We saw after browsing Craigslist / Denver for a small camper trailer a listing for a 2004 Airstream Bambi 16footer for $ 2,000. This was considerably lower than others we had seen for sale listings, we sent just a brief email asking to verify the price as there might be a decimel missing... simply this in perfect condition trailer could be $ 20,000. We received an email back from a woman verifying the price of $ 2,000 and provided great like new condition photos of interior and exterior. NO mention of the location yet. We replied asking for more information.. was this trailer in the denver area to make an on-site inspection, etc. We got a reply that this trailer was in storeage in Sioux City IA as a previous sale had been cancelled. Would we be interested in having EBAY contact us to have it delivered with a 5 day inspection period before a purchase was made.... we have sent an email stating that we have family in the Sioux City area and can we know exact location of the trailer for an actual inspection before a delivery arrangemtn is made. Radio silence so far....
Follow Ups/Extra Information. Most recent is listed first.
Common scam. Read CL's scam info, Do a Google Image Search and you will probably find the original sale of the trailer on ebay or in a for sale ad. ebay doesn't act as an escrow agent... NEVER wire money. They always disappear when you want to see the goods.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
