Scam Website:
Seeking new home for pug puppy due to being relocated to a post in Elgin, Scotland and unable to have puppy at her new residence. I enquired about adopting the puppy, she asked me to message her directly. After exchanging emails during which she made me promise to keep her updated on his progress and to give him a good home I was 'chosen' to adopt him. All I would have to pay would be the transport costs from Elgin. I was then sent details of how to pay for the transport from Pet Taxi VIP Services - suspicions were raised that a this company only had a hot mail address and that I could find no website for them and that payment had to be made via Western Union to the Cameroons and I had to say the puppy as a gift!!!. I strung her along for a bit longer pretending that I was having problems with finding a Western Union office near me and she offered to help. I then expressed doubts about sending money to the Cameroons and why was this. She then offered to send me details of a British account - this duly arrived. In the meantime I had been searching more and found Scamalot whereby almost word for word was the discussion I had been having but about other pug puppies. Do not fall for this please. I am much sadder but wiser now.

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell. And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
