Thanks a lot for the email. I am away at sea at the moment,i work with New Zealand Oil and Gas (NZOG) and we are presently offshore in New Zealand Taranaki Basin on kapo project. We do not have access to phone at the moment,its 5days off and 25days on,which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility. Where is it located at the moment?
I am buying it for my for my holiday and i want it delivered before my arrival.I won't be able to come for the inspection due to the nature of my work and i would have called but our calling is restricted.Regarding the payment,pls get back to me with your final asking price and your paypal details so i can process the payment,you can alternatively send your bsb and acct number if you have no paypal acct.I have also contacted my courier who will come for pick up after the whole fund has been cleared into your acct.

Wanted to buy our item on gumtree. Said he sent payment but for it to be released we had to organise $950 Moneygram payment for courier. Our payment would be released once we had done that.
Scamming low life.

I had an ad on gumtree and received a text message I my phone.
I was immediately suspicious because instead of a phone number being displayed it had the name "lokesh"
The text mesge was as follows..
"Is the Furniture Items still available for sale? kindly reply to ( lokesh.chandanl@zoho.com ) plz no text."
I always worry when people ask for replies to be via an email in case it is really phishing scam. When I clicked on their contact details on my phone as well as brought up the message through the "truecaller messenger" ap, the telephone number was not listed at all.
I googled the email and can see all these posts for scam alerts and I'm. Glad that I did.
I would assume this is an automated phishing scam and so warn people not to click on their email not use their email to respond to.
If I'm incorrect, I'll happily stand to be proven wrong.
