Pretoria / Tshwane; 18/03/2013 ... He pretends to be able to assist you if you are a vehicle finance bank declined client. He then sends an application form and requests you send all your personal details. He makes everything seem really legitimate. he calls you and tells you that you have been approved and gets you vehicles you can view from approved dealerships. He contacts them on your behalf and makes all the arrangements with them. Once you have chosen a car, he sends you a Security Agreement that states Between Fincorp Consortium (Pty) Ltd. Reg. Nr: 2012/054267/07 Represented by: J. C. Du Toit ID. Nr: 830208 5249 086 86 Oyster Crescent Umhlanga Rocks 4051 (Financier) He even has an OTP from the dealership. This makes it all seem legitimate. He then requests a deposit to be paid to Name of Bank: ABSA and Account Number: 9264675412 He continues to make arrangements with dealership and tells them it is a cash deal and requests invoice to be sent in your name. He then lies and tells them that money is paid into their account by financier and it should reflect in 2days. He then stops answering his phone. Throughout this process he keeps in contact and even returns calls. He seems to be operating in JHB and Pretoria but is based in Pretoria area. When I eventually tracked down Fincorp Consortium in KZN, they claimed to have no knowledge of this person or of providing such a service. | ||||
