Business Venture Scam
| China Business Bank Account This is a confidence scheme. He will lie and portray himself as successful with international business interests. He will propose a service business opportunity in Asia with no overhead but requires a deposit to open bank account in China to manage financials as China does not allow PayPal (or some other similar story). If you won't send the money via Western Union or wire transfer, he will suggest using a "friend's" PayPal account (firstname.lastname@example.org) instead of his to avoid foreign conversion and other fees. He will claim (1) his "friend" will keep your money in the PayPal account and (2) PayPal's Protection Policy will allow you to claim a refund at anytime (it doesn't if the transaction is Friends & Family, which he will request; past 180 days; or deemed a business investment). Obviously, the money will disappear and PayPal will hide behind its policies and not help you.|

Since you’re here …
we have a small favour to ask. More people are visting Scamdex and Scamalot than ever but advertising revenues are falling fast and we have no 'product' to sell.
And unlike many informational websites, we haven’t put up a paywall or membership barrier – we want to keep our site as open as we can.
So you can see why we need to ask for your help. Scamdex/Scamalot websites takes a lot of time, money and hard work to keep running. We do this because we
hate to see our fellow humans getting scammed out of their hard-earned money by low-lives.
