Thanks a lot for the email. I work with Flagship Marine and we are presently offshore in New Zealand. We do not have access to phone at the moment, its 5days off and 25days on which is why I contacted you with internet messaging facility. Where are you located at the moment?
I am buying it and I want it delivered before my arrival. I won't be able to come for the inspection due to the nature of my work and I would have called but phone usage and calling are very restricted. I have also contacted a courier agent who will meet you for pick-up and delivery after payment has been cleared. Regarding the payment, please get back to me with your final asking price, I can transfer money through secure online bank transfer, you can alternatively send your BSB and account number, payment can also go through PayPal, if you don't have, you can set up via www.PayPal.com.au
Kindly get back to me with the following questions below:
1) Are you the Owner?
2) Pick up Location?
3) What is The final Price?

Kaye, wanted to purchase a dining suite, advertised by us on Gumtree, sight unseen. Said she is working for NZOG, 5 days off, 25 days on etc. Does not have access to phone. She would arrange shipping with a freight company based in the Philippines. Requested our address, phone number, banks details. She wanted to add the cost of freight ($1050), to the price for the dining suite. She then wanted us to transfer the freight payment to https://www.transferwise.com We asked why she couldn’t do the transfer and she claimed not to have a ‘card’ as it was lost in a car accident that killed her husband several months ago! She kept messaging “can I make the transfer now?” No more emails when I questioned further. Assume that a fake deposit payment receipt would be sent and then we would be asked to transfer the freight money. Meanwhile no money would have been deposited. We would have been scammed $1050. Luckily I searched scams on Gumtree and found reports almost exactly to the word.
